JOHN PADDY CARSTAIRS  1910-1970

İngiliz  senarist,televizyon ve film yönetmeni. Genelde 37 film yaptı. eğlenceli konularda çalıştı. Televizyonda‘’The Saint’’ dizi filmlerde Leslie Charteris’in yarattığı karakter  Simon Templar’ı canlandırdı.( Roger Moore)

Komedi Yönetmeni olarak bilinmediği halde,Norman Wisdom’la çektiği 1953’’Trouble in Store’’ büyük başarı oldu.Norman Wisdom filmleri yanı sıra çeşitli İngiliz komedi filmleri yaptı.1962’’The Devil’s Agent’’ gizemli casus filminden sonra sinemayı bıraktı.
