Amerikalı aktör,senarist ve klasik dönem film yönetmeni. Küçük bütçeli filmler yönetti. Western,Aksiyon,Polisiye ve Komedi filmleri yaptı.1931’’Sporting Chance’’,1933 ‘’The Big Chance’’,1944’’Rogues’ Gallery’’ öne çıkan filmleridir.Üretken bir yönetmen olarak 194 filmi olup,64 senaryo yazdı.
